One can witness the extravagant beauty of Kaveri River cascading down the rock face and eventually turning into falls. The period after monsoon – November and December is the best time to visit this place.
  1. Brahmagiri peak: This natural scenic place is covered with forested woods and mist topped hills. It is ideal place for trekking. On the way one will pass through lush and beautiful grass lands, colorful floras and sparkling streams of clear water. Also there is wild life sanctuary that houses rare species of animals viz. lion tailed Macaque, Jungle cat, spotted deer, Nilgiri Langur, Gian flying squirrel etc. A must visit to witness perfect amalgamation of natural beauty with rare species.
  1. This is the most scenic place to visit. It has mystical views and cotton clouds that are truly divine to the eyes. Tourist throng sun set point in this place to witness the breathtaking view of the green valley and the surrounding hills. Also the place is bathed with beautiful gardens and seasonal flowers whose view reenergizes the mind and soul.

Other places of interest are Bylakuppe which has Golden temple designed in typical Tibetan style of architecture, the Cauvery Nisargadhama, Nagarhole national park and Chettalli.
